Litchfield Carnegie Library Building

The Historic Litchfield Carnegie Library Building was originally funded by industrialist and notable philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, in 1904. On the National Register of Historic Places, this building was originally designed by architect Paul Moratz in the Classical Revival style.

Now owned by the City of Litchfield, the Historic Litchfield Carnegie Library Building is open to the public and home to the Litchfield Tourism Office. Visitors are also welcome to walk around the exterior, relax in the surrounding park, and enjoy the fountain and Veteran's Memorial.
