The Carlinville Amtrak platform is an unmanned but newly renovated. Both Litchfield cab companies: Litchfield Taxicab or Orange is the New Ride, will pick you up at this location. It is recommended to have a pre-arranged pick up before arrival. Keep reading for more information on taxi’s.
The Springfield, IL and St. Louis, MO Amtrak stations are both fully manned.

To arrange a taxi ride from either airport or the Carlinville Amtrak station, call Orange is the New Ride at (217) 324-4444 or the Litchfield Taxicab at (217) 324-2222. Flat rates are set for most nearby destinations, feel free to call both companies to learn more about their rates.
St. Louis Lambert Airport is the closest international airport at only 60 miles from the City of Litchfield. Other available airports include: Springfield Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport and MidAmerica St. Louis as well as Midway and O’Hare in Chicago. Litchfield Municipal Airport is also available for landing by privately flown planes.
